A 2-day End of Challenge Fund Project Learning Event for seven (7) Colleges of Education has been held. After 12 months of successfully implementing various innovative projects, Colleges were given the opportunity to peer review their works while harvesting lessons from best practices and results.

The National Council for Tertiary Education (NTCE) with support from Transforming Teacher Education and Learning (T-TEL) hosted a one-day Learning Summit for key education leaders across Ghana to discuss how to use evidence for impact in teacher education reform in Ghana.

The forum brought together Education Stakeholders from across the education sector for their input and endorsement of the draft Curriculum Framework. The key focus of the Curriculum Framework is to promote innovation, inclusion and best practice in improving the quality of teacher preparation in Ghana in line with the National Teaching Standards.

HRH Princess Anne, daughter of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as part of her 2-day visit in Ghana, has met with two volunteers from VSO International supporting T-TEL to improve professional development of tutors in Ghana’s Colleges of Education. The visit is aimed at celebrating the unique friendship between the UK and Ghana as the latter marks its 60th Anniversary.
