The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced that  from the 2018/19 academic year, which begins in September 2018, all Colleges of Education in the country will be upgraded to University Colleges.

T-TEL Chief Technical Adviser, Akwasi Addae-Boahene, has addressed a group of journalists in Accra on the Relevance of T-TEL to Teacher Education and Learning in Ghana as part of a three-day training workshop (held from 8th -10th February, 2018) to build the capacities of journalists to adequately and efficiently report on major reforms being undertaken by the ministry.
