T-TEL holds Fourth National Stakeholder Forum

The forum brought together Education Stakeholders from across the education sector for their input and endorsement of the draft Curriculum Framework. The key focus of the Curriculum Framework is to promote innovation, inclusion and best practice in improving the quality of teacher preparation in Ghana in line with the National Teaching Standards.

HRH Princess Anne visits VSO volunteers working on T-TEL Ghana Programme

HRH Princess Anne, daughter of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as part of her 2-day visit in Ghana, has met with two volunteers from VSO International supporting T-TEL to improve professional development of tutors in Ghana’s Colleges of Education. The visit is aimed at celebrating the unique friendship between the UK and Ghana as the latter marks its 60th Anniversary.

Minister expresses satisfaction with Teacher Education Curriculum Framework

At a meeting to present the draft Teacher Education framework to the Minister of Education on Wednesday March 15, 2017 at the West Wing of the Parliament house in Accra, Hon. Dr. Mathew Opoku-Prempeh, the sector minister expressed his satisfaction with the progress of work on the Draft Teacher Education Curriculum framework.

Workshops held for Regional & District Directors of Education

The Ghana Education Service (GES), with support from T-TEL has organised a series of two-day workshops on the Draft National Teacher Education Curriculum Framework. The workshops took place from the 15th – 16th, 22nd - 23rd of February, and 28th February – 2nd March 2017 in Accra, Kumasi and Cape Coast respectively.
